The Versatility of Her Platform
Belcalis Marlenis Almánzarprofessionally known as Cardi B is an American rapper who comes from New York City, born and raised in the Bronx. Cardi B on any day will speak out loud against any form of marginalization be it race, ethnicity, or gender-related inequalities.
Upon reaching the next level of fame, Cardi doesn’t mind picking up her phone and addressing key issues right from home or wherever she finds herself and within minutes is heard and applauded by millions of people for her efforts.
Giving Back to Society

A typical example is when she offered to cover the funeral cost for the families of the victims of the deadly January 9th fire in the Bronx. In the Bronx, Cardi is a fighter who fights not for herself but for the communities as a whole. On social media, she fights for everyone by speaking against the unfair treatment of people in the minority.
These qualities make her versatile both onstage and offstage and it continues to give her space on the world stage. Let’s recognize this young woman for using her platform not only for her musical voice but to create a sound for those who do not have a platform.
