Grieving the loss of a loved one is an immensely challenging experience, leaving a void that seems impossible to fill. In December 2022, the Marley family faced a heartbreaking loss when Jo Mersa, son of renowned musician Stephen Marley, passed away. The weight of grief seemed insurmountable, but amidst the pain, Stephen Marley found solace in the very thing that has been the cornerstone of his life – music. Embarking on a series of tours, Stephen turned to the healing power of music to cope with his loss and find strength in the memories of his son.
